Lyme disease is transmitted from the bite of infected ticks and most commonly results in fever, lethargy, limping and/or soreness on multiple limbs. More serious cases of Lyme can result in kidney damage. The Lyme vaccine helps to prevent a dog who has been bitten by an infected tick from contracting the disease.
Dosing Schedule: Initial vaccination requires two booster shots spaced 2-4 weeks apart, and one shot every year thereafter.
